Getting started

Updated by

Your shop on the platform: a public website with your blog, CV and portfolio, and a shop for books, courses, workshops, bootcamps, bundles, downloads, memberships and paid meetings. Everything is managed from this admin. The platform runs the servers, backups and updates; you run your shop.

The two sides

  • Your storefront (your subdomain, or your own domain) is what visitors and customers see: home page, blog, catalog, checkout, customer accounts.
  • The admin (this panel) is where you and your team manage everything. Nothing here is visible to other vendors, and nothing of theirs is visible to you.

First steps

  1. Billing: check your package. Some screens (books, courses, bootcamps, collections and more) come with a higher package; see Your plan and themes.
  2. Settings -> General: site title, logo, favicon and cover image.
  3. Settings -> Currencies & timezones: your timezone and the currency everyone pays in.
  4. Settings -> Email: connect your own SMTP or Amazon SES, then use Send test email in System health. Receipts, downloads, invites and meeting links all depend on it.
  5. Settings -> Payment gateways: switch on at least one way to pay (Safepay, bank transfer, Stripe, PayPal, 2Checkout) with YOUR account's keys, and add its webhook. The money goes straight to you.
  6. Appearance -> Theme: preview designs and ready-made layouts on your own content and pick one; fine-tune its Style and Layout tabs.
  7. Content -> Home page sections for what your home page says and Appearance -> Menu for the navigation.
  8. Content -> Pages: publish the Privacy Policy and Terms pages (created as drafts).
  9. Settings -> System health: fix anything marked Problem.

Finding your way

The sidebar groups everything by job:

Group What's in it
Billing Your package and subscription with the platform
Sales Every sale, customers, members, licence keys
Catalog What you sell: books, courses, workshops, bootcamps, bundles, membership plans, collections
Bookings Paid meetings, services, availability
Marketing Email and WhatsApp campaigns, coupons, abandoned checkouts
Blog, Content, Appearance, CV Your public site
Team People who can sign in to your shop, their roles, the activity log
Settings Shop settings, connections (payments, email, meeting links), system health

Items your package does not include are hidden. A red bubble on a sidebar group counts what is new inside it: sales, quotation answers, customers and messages under Sales, meetings under Bookings, newsletter subscribers under Marketing.
