Pick a font and a primary colour in Theme -> Style. Every theme except Nova uses both, and your favicon.
Layout that follows you
Choose full width or boxed, a colour, gradient or image background, and your header and footer colours. They stay when you switch themes.
Dark mode and a phone menu
Turn on the light and dark toggle, and give phone visitors a slide-in drawer or a bottom bar.

No. Activating a theme changes only the look. Your pages, posts, products, menu and settings stay.
Can I change the colours and font?
Yes. Theme -> Style sets the font, the primary colour, text and link colours, the header and footer, the width and the background.
Is there a starting layout for my home page?
Yes. Start from a template such as Classic, Portfolio, One-page portfolio, Creator, Services first or One card, then edit the widgets.
Do the themes work on phones?
Yes. Every theme shares the same phone menu, a drawer or a bottom bar, which you set under Appearance, then Menu.
